Joinery
Proper joinery, correct grain orientation and panels built to move with the season. The parts nobody sees decide how long the parts they do see survive.
Home / About
A Boca Raton wood shop and material supplier that draws, builds, finishes and installs its own work.
Our Story
Most custom wood work passes through too many hands. A designer draws it, a shop somewhere else builds it, a third crew installs it, and the material comes from whoever had it in stock that week. Every handoff is a chance for the detail to get lost, and the client is the one who finds out at install.
Wood 19 Inc was built to keep those parts together. From our Boca Raton location we produce the drawings, buy and mill the material, build the piece, finish it in our own booth and install it with our own crew. One team owns the outcome from first measurement to final adjustment.
We also supply material, and that is not a side business. We stock nineteen species of kiln dried hardwood along with hardwood plywood, veneer and live edge slabs, and we sell to builders, cabinet shops, woodworkers and homeowners. Working both sides keeps us honest: when we quote your project, we know exactly what the lumber costs because we bought it.
Our clients are homeowners renovating a kitchen, designers specifying a whole house package, architects needing shop drawings that match their details, builders who need a millwork partner that hits dates, and woodworkers who just need good boards. The standards do not change between them.
What Drives Us
Proper joinery, correct grain orientation and panels built to move with the season. The parts nobody sees decide how long the parts they do see survive.
Nothing gets cut from a verbal description. You approve elevations and details first, which is how surprises stop happening at install.
We tell you what a species really costs, how it will age and when a cheaper option would serve you just as well.
Sanded properly, sprayed in a controlled booth and cured before it ships. A rushed finish ruins months of good work.
The Shop
Wood behaves differently here. Humidity swings, salt air and air conditioning cycling all day put stress on panels and joints that a shop in a dry climate never has to think about. We do, because we live with the results.
That shapes how we buy, how long we acclimate material before cutting it, how we build panels to allow movement, and which finishes we recommend for a beach house versus an inland office.
Send us dimensions or a photo and we will come back with a design direction, material options and a written price.
