Delivery areas, freight, what to check at delivery, and how returns work on material and custom work.

1. Delivery Area
We deliver and install throughout Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Material orders and crated furniture can be freight shipped beyond that area, quoted by weight, dimensions and destination. Will call pickup at our Boca Raton location is available during business hours.
2. Delivery And Installation
- Delivery and installation dates are scheduled in advance and confirmed the week prior.
- Someone authorized to accept the delivery must be present.
- Clear access must be available, including parking, elevator reservations and a protected path to the install area.
- Failed deliveries caused by site access or an unready site may incur a redelivery charge.
- Curbside delivery is available on material orders where inside placement is not requested.
3. Delivery Charges
- Local material delivery: $85 to $240 depending on distance and load size.
- Installation delivery is included in project pricing within our service area.
- Freight shipped furniture is crated and quoted individually, with crating billed separately.
- Long carry, stairs and upper floor placement may incur additional labor charges.
4. Receiving Your Order
Inspect everything before signing. Check piece counts, look for transit damage, and confirm species, dimensions and finish against your order.
- Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing.
- Photograph damage and packaging at the time of delivery.
- Report all discrepancies within 48 hours of delivery.
- Damage reported after 48 hours without notation may not be creditable.
5. Damage Claims
Where damage is noted at delivery and reported within 48 hours, we repair, replace or credit at our option. Shop repairs on site are common and often produce a better result than replacing a whole piece. For freight shipments, we file the carrier claim on your behalf.
6. Custom Work Is Not Returnable
Cabinetry, millwork, furniture and any item built to your dimensions, species or finish is made specifically for you and cannot be returned or restocked. This is standard across the custom woodworking trade. It is also why we invest so heavily in drawings and approvals before cutting: your approval of the drawings is your opportunity to change anything, at no cost.
7. Material Returns
Stock lumber, plywood and sheet goods may be returned when:
- The return is requested within 14 days of purchase
- The material is unused, unmilled, uncut and unfinished
- The material is in the same condition as sold, free of moisture damage and marking
- The original receipt is provided
- The item is stock inventory, not a special order or custom milled item
8. Non Returnable Items
- Any custom fabricated cabinetry, millwork or furniture
- Material that has been cut, milled, planed, sanded or finished
- Special order species, sizes and imported stock brought in for you
- Custom moulding runs and knife profiles
- Live edge slabs sold as individually selected pieces
- Clearance, closeout and material sold as is
9. Restocking
Approved material returns may carry a restocking fee of up to 20 percent plus pickup costs where applicable. No restocking fee applies where the error was ours.
10. Order Cancellation
Custom orders may be cancelled before material is ordered and fabrication begins, subject to design fees incurred. After material is ordered or fabrication starts, deposits are non refundable and charges for work completed apply.
11. Storage
Completed work held at our shop beyond 14 days after notification of completion, at the client's request or because a site is not ready, may incur storage charges. We will always tell you before charges begin.
