Terms of Service
The terms governing use of this website and the general terms for our design, fabrication, installation and material supply services.
Last updated: September 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to thewoodscorp.site and describe the general terms under which Wood 19 Inc provides wood design, fabrication, installation and material supply. By using this website you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Wood 19 Inc is a wood design, millwork and material supply company located at 5890 Paddington Way, Boca Raton, FL 33496, serving South Florida.
2. Website Use
- Use this site for lawful purposes only.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorized access to the site.
- Do not copy, scrape or republish site content, project images or drawings without written permission.
- Do not submit false information or use our forms for unsolicited commercial messages.
3. Information Is Not An Offer
Prices, ranges, lead times and service descriptions on this website, including those on the homepage, pricing page and materials page, are general information for planning. They are not quotes, offers or guarantees of price, availability or schedule. Lumber and material pricing in particular moves with market conditions.
4. Quotes And Proposals
- Quotes are based on the information and dimensions you provide. Changes to scope, species, finish or site conditions change the price.
- Each written proposal states an expiration date, typically 14 to 30 days, because material pricing moves.
- Allowances, exclusions and assumptions stated in the proposal control over anything said verbally or shown on this website.
- Only a proposal signed by both parties creates a binding agreement.
5. Deposits And Payment
- A deposit, typically 50 percent, is required at contract signing to release material and shop time.
- Deposits are non refundable once material has been ordered or fabrication has begun, because custom material cannot be resold.
- The balance is due on completion or per the milestone schedule in your contract.
- Material sold at the yard is paid at time of purchase unless account terms are in place.
- Past due balances may accrue interest and collection costs as permitted by Florida law.
- We may withhold delivery or installation on past due accounts.
6. Drawings And Intellectual Property
Drawings, shop drawings, renderings and design concepts we produce remain the intellectual property of Wood 19 Inc. They are provided for the purpose of reviewing and building your project with us and may not be used to solicit bids from, or have work produced by, another shop without our written permission and payment of a design fee. Where a design retainer has been paid and no contract follows, the retainer covers the design work but does not transfer ownership of the drawings unless agreed in writing.
7. Changes
Changes after drawing approval, including species, dimension, finish and hardware changes, require a written change order that may affect both price and schedule. Work already fabricated to the approved drawings is chargeable even if subsequently changed.
8. Lead Times
Lead times are good faith estimates measured from drawing approval and deposit receipt, not from first contact. Material availability, mill delays, finish cure times, site readiness, weather, hurricane events and client selection delays can affect schedule. We communicate changes as soon as we are aware of them.
9. Natural Material Variation
Wood is a natural material. Color, grain, figure, mineral streaking, knots and character marks vary between boards and between trees, and species such as cherry and walnut change color measurably with age and light exposure. Samples and photographs are representative, not exact. Reasonable variation is a characteristic of the material and is not a defect.
10. Movement And Site Conditions
Wood expands and contracts with humidity. Seasonal movement, minor gapping at panel joints and hairline finish checking are normal and are not defects. Interior environments should be maintained within normal residential ranges. Damage from flooding, prolonged humidity extremes, direct water exposure or failure to maintain the environment is not covered.
11. Client Responsibilities
- Confirm dimensions and approve drawings before fabrication begins
- Provide access to the site on scheduled installation days
- Ensure the site is ready, including finished floors and walls where required
- Provide power, clear access and safe working conditions
- Make selections by the dates in the schedule
- Obtain any HOA, condominium or association approvals that apply
12. Installation And Other Trades
Unless stated in your proposal, our scope does not include electrical, plumbing, countertops, stone, appliance installation, drywall repair, painting of walls or permitting. Where those trades are involved, coordination is the responsibility of the client or general contractor.
13. Material Sales
Lumber, plywood, veneer and slabs are sold as inspected. Buyers are responsible for selecting and approving material at purchase. Returns of material are governed by our Shipping and Returns policy. We are not responsible for material that is milled, cut or finished after leaving our facility.
14. Warranty
Workmanship warranty terms are described on our Warranty and Care page and in your contract.
15. Portfolio Use
We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, website and social media. Client names and exact addresses are not published without permission, and you may opt out in writing.
16. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, Wood 19 Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or delay of other trades. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the work or material giving rise to the claim.
17. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including hurricanes, severe weather, material shortages, mill delays, labor disruption, utility failure or government action.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, unless your contract provides otherwise.
19. Changes And Contact
We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted with an updated date. Where a signed contract conflicts with these Terms, the contract controls for that project.
